• Led by Mrs. Jessica Paxton (jpaxton@kcsknights.org), The KCS Drama department is dedicated to representing our school values and bringing excellence to the stage! Theatre brings together all great humanistic traditions in one work. We seek to explore what it means to be humans created in the image of God through prose and performance!
• Students can expect to gain many skills from theater! They will gain confidence through learning various skills and performing in front of live audiences. They will gain interpersonal skills through working as a team to create a live production on a deadline. They will gain an understanding and appreciation of the fine arts through studying great plays and performing them. Lastly, they practical life skills by making costumes, building sets, and other skills needed for performances!
